Prawn cocktail

I am a Prawn lover. Every time I have tasted Prawn cocktail at any restaurant I wanted to make it at home. And after making it at home, I never wanted to taste it in any other restaurants anymore...it is easy and delicious....

Ingredients-


  • 400gms Prawns
  • 1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 5 heaped tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1tsp tomato sauce
  • 1tablespoon whipped cream
  • 1tsp powdered mustard
  • 1tsp lemon juice


Method-


  • Peel the prawns and clean them well.
  • Boil it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Marinate the prawns with pinch of salt and 1tsp black pepper
  • Keep it aside.
  • Mix the tomato sauce, mayonnaise, remaining black pepper, mustard powder, whipped cream, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce really well. This is your cocktail sauce.
  • Cut the prawns in medium pieces and divide them into 3 cocktail/champagne glasses.
  • Pour the cocktail sauce generously over the prawns.
  • Refrigerate it for half an hour before serving.
