Make some Buns...

Well, we all have bought and taste different types of buns at least once (actually multiple times) in our lives. I love buns and bread but I hate buying buns because you can make it at home and you can definitely make it better than any stores. When I started cooking I couldn't even make roti/chapati but I learned how to knead and make dough because of buns, pizza and breads. I used to make really bad pizza base and buns initially but with time things have improved and the buns not just look good but also taste amazing.

If you still need more reason to make it at home then just think how long freshly bake buns can be really fresh? In the stores you have no idea how long they are storing it, but in your home you know you are having the fresh thing. :)






Ingredients-


  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp dry fast action yeast
  • Herbs
  • Black cumin
  • 1 egg yolk
Method-

  • Activate the yeast following the procedure mentioned in the box.
  • Knead the flour little soft, cover and keep it in a warm place till the dough becomes double in size.
  • Now knead shape you it bit more and give it whatever shape you want. Brush some egg yolk on it and sprinkle some herbs and black cumin on top.
  • Pre-heat the microwave oven in convection in 200 degree C.
  • Bake the dough for 25-30 mins.
  • Have the fresh buns and enjoy!!
