- 2 cups cooked Basmati rice
- 2 medium carrots chopped
- 1 large green capsicum chopped
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 3-4 spring onions chopped
- 7-8 cloves of garlic chopped
- 2 Tsp soy sauce
- 2 Tsp Chinese Five spices powder
- 1tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- Salt per taste
- Sugar (if needed)
- 2-3 tsp sunflower oil
Method-
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the vegetables properly.
- In a small bowl mix the soy sauce and sugar. Keep it aside.
- Mix the cooked rice into the fried vegetable.
- Add salt, Chinese five spices, grated ginger and oregano. Stir continuously.
- Pour the sweet soy sauce into the mixture and stir vigorously so that the rice do not stick together.
- Put the flame off and cover the lid for couple of minutes.
- Serve hot.
